If your licensure restricts referral compensation or requires disclosure, our partner agreement includes written disclosure provisions, and you can direct your payout as a donation to a charity of your choice or as a service credit to the client you referred. The introduction still counts toward Gold status.

A net-new business prospect that is not currently a Turnkey client and not already in our active pipeline. The referred business must complete our sales process and pay their first invoice for your payout to trigger.
Payouts are calculated monthly. Once the referred client pays their first invoice and a 30-day hold period clears, your payout is approved and sent. Recurring bookkeeping shares then pay out monthly as the client pays, for the client's first 12 months.
Close three referrals in any rolling 12-month window and you're Gold. Every referral you close after that pays at 15 percent instead of 10, across every service line, plus priority handling, co-branded materials, and a quarterly session with the founder. Gold status stays active as long as you keep three closes in the trailing 12 months.
No cap. Your earnings scale with the number and size of referrals you send. Whether you refer 2 businesses a year or 20, there is no ceiling on partner income.
Yes. If a single business needs bookkeeping and a new website, you earn on both. Each service line pays independently. Cross-service referrals are the fastest way to increase your annual partner income.
Never. Your only job is the introduction. Turnkey handles all sales conversations, scoping, proposals, onboarding, and delivery. You stay informed on referral status but never negotiate, pitch, or manage anything.
We respect professional conduct rules. Our partner agreement includes the written client-disclosure provisions the AICPA referral-fee rule requires, and where compensation is restricted you can direct your payout to a charity of your choice or as a service credit to the client you referred. Prefer a pure reciprocal relationship with no fees at all? We do those too, gladly.
No. Turnkey CFO is a bookkeeping firm. We do not prepare tax returns, we do not give tax or legal advice, and our engagement letters point clients back to their CPA and attorney by name. Refer a client and they stay your client. The same lane discipline applies to agencies: we deliver what you referred us for and nothing more.
For project work (Web, AI, Design), your payout is locked once the client pays. For the recurring bookkeeping share, payouts continue as long as the client stays active during their first 12 months; if the client cancels, the remaining share stops with them. Payouts already issued after the hold period are final.
Every partner receives a monthly statement with referral status, closed deals, payout amounts, and cumulative earnings. You always know exactly where each referral stands and what you've earned.
